Camp Green pastures

I saw mud. I felt a tingle in my body.  It said to me to go in the mud but…

The teachers said my name. I was so confused.  My friends behind me did not seem confused.  

Then I realised it was time to fight the beast. I was going, I was in the mud. The  teachers said "Get set, go!" and off I went! Wherever the mud took me my friends followed but then... my friend Addi took the lead!

We got to a swampy part where I was a little scared but I did it! The mud was thick and heavy. We got to a deep muddy part of the forest and I was terrified but I did carefully go in. I was super muddy now! At one point me and my friend got stuck but I escaped. Addi ran for it when she got out so I stalked her to see where her muddy footprints would go.

Finally we got to the end and we decided to go again. When we got to the line it was huge but we could not go back so we did it again. That time I loved it!

Addi and I were so cold we were shaking, so two parents helped us get out. As we were shaking we took the short cut but we got stuck and I tried to climb out on my tummy.
To wash off we all got to jump in the lake. It was so cold but it was too late, I was already in! When I got out a friend of mine tricked me and pushed me back into the lake! I climbed out as soon as I could and I ran to my cabin so I could have a hot shower and get the bad smell off. I can still smell it to this day!

I still can not believe I did the mud run. I was very proud of myself.
